SUMMARY:Class of 2023 - Creative Leadership
DESCRIPTION:Creativity is widely regarded as one of the most essential\, useful\, and sought-after skills for leaders and for employees\, in general. Creative leadership involves being open to new ideas\, being flexible in thought and action\, taking risks\, finding playfulness in innovation\, and working through uncertainty while moving forward with confidence. This session will focus on learning ways to build creative mindsets\, skill sets\, and tool sets through an assessment model\, individual exercises\, and group activities. A bonus benefit will be having fun and working together in a climate of support\, celebration\, and connection! \n \nFascilitated by Jane Fischer \nJane is a Creative Change Facilitator\, offering training\, facilitation\, and coaching for personal and organizational development. Her passion is to help individuals\, teams\, and organizations generate brighter ideas\, embrace creative and collaborative solutions\, and to do so through positive mindsets. \nJane has over 25 years of experience in organizing and delivering educational and professional development workshops\, training curriculum\, process facilitation\, and group experience activities. Much of this experience covers her two decades in health education leadership\, with 15 of these years as a peer health education administrator and trainer at the college level. \nJane holds a Master of Arts in Health Arts and Sciences from Goddard College\, and a Graduate Certificate of Advanced Study in Creativity and Change Leadership from the International Center for Studies in Creativity at SUNY Buffalo State. She also serves as a Creativity Trainer for the Creative Education Foundation. \nJane also builds her approach around the principles and practices of improvisation. She has been a professional improv comedy performer for over 20 years\, currently with ComedySportz Buffalo. She was a co-founder and performer with The Unexpected Guests Improv Comedy Group in Jamestown from 2002-2017. She has lived in Chautauqua County for most of her life\, and currently resides in Fredonia with her husband and a very spoiled cat.
