In this session, participants will learn the core concepts of design thinking and will have the opportunity to apply those concepts immediately to their own lives. This session will challenge participants to expand their creative thinking and problem solving abilities, invite them to reflect deeply on their own lives and careers, and emerge with distinct tools to face some of the most difficult decisions a person can face. As a result of this session, participants can expect to:
- Articulate and apply the elements of design thinking to real-world problems
- Create an inventory of their own NACE competencies and strengths
- Understand the importance of a career self-concept, and see their own RIASEC codes
- Define and apply personal values to life and career decisions
